Micropeels at Classic Skin of Tulsa

One of our Tulsa clients most popular facial rejuvenating treatments today is the Micropeel. A Classic Skin of Tulsa Micropeel will smooth and soften your skin, along with many other benefits such as brightening of your complexion, minimizing pore size and reducing skin discoloration.

Many Tulsa clients love Micropeels because there is no recovery time. It is the least heavy of the chemical peels because it works on the outer surface of the skin. A Classic Skin of Tulsa Micropeel treatment is standardly not painful.

How does it work?

This simple treatment, performed under the expertise of Sharon Smithson, takes around a half hour. Micropeels use lactic and glycol acids, both of which are naturally occurring alpha hydroxyl acids (AHAS), commonly found in many fruits and other foods.

Our skilled aestheticians begin by gently removing dead skin cells through a painless technique referred to as dermaplanning (similar to shaving). The Micropeel is then applied to the skin, followed by stimulants such as dry ice and then moisturizer.

Following the procedure, patients can immediately apply makeup and go back to their daily activities.

What are the results?

After a Classic Skin of Tulsa Micropeel, your dead superficial skin cells invisibly shed. This procedure is safe to use on a regular basis, since the skin rejuvenates for up to 6 weeks after each treatment. For optimal results, we recommend the first six peels at 2 week intervals. After the first six peels, you can maintain your Micropeels every one to three months.

It is important to note that this procedure is not one for improving dynamic or skin fold wrinkles. Micropeels are best used in conjunction with a skin care program such as Xeomin or another wrinkle treatment injection.

At Classic Skin of Tulsa, we look forward to consulting with you to discuss your anti-aging and treatment plan and scheduling your Micropeel session. You could be just an appointment away from a younger, natural looking you.
